I have an 1100GS that used to only be used in the summer on dry roads. I use the bike a lot more now and also do a little light off road on it. I was out yesterday on it and tried to turn the ABS off, which I thought I'd acomplished but when I applied the back brake the ABS kicked in ???

If its the same as the 1150 i think you hold in the abs button on the switchgear then start the bike with the button held in for about 10sec's. You cant turn it off mid ride with the bike running as i understand it.

Hold the ABS button in with the ignition switched off......then switch on the ignition while keeping the ABS button held in.

After a few seconds, release the ABS button.

Mind, you,I thought you could have understood the relevant page.....

" Holdung der ABS button in mit der ignition svitched off......und svitch on der ignition vile keeping der ABS button held in.

After und few seconds, releasen der ABS button. "

Males sense tells them to buy whatever toys takes their fancy, females sense tells them to stick to shoes and handbags :thumb

When I first looked at my german market model it was in better condition than all the english market models (sheds) I'd looked at, easy decision really :thumb
