hi, can anyone tell me how difficult it is to fit a new throttle cable on a 94 1100gs, mine has frayed at the bottom and throttle is sticking open, also is it a one piece cable or lots of separate cables, ta very much.

It's a little involved and you probably need a splitter box that lives under the battery/ airbox (can't remember). Easy diy but allow a bit of time. you'l need a twin max too.

Wrong. And a twinmax is shite.

It's an early model. Which has a one piece cable. it's a pain in the arse to fit, and adjust. But more time consuming than difficult.

Will take you a while if you've never done it before.

Obviously I am a total idiot. Didn't notice it was an early one.
Why are twimaxs so shit?

kick my dog and call me a c**t!

What other types of instruments have you used to compare it with ??

Anyone i know who's good on the spanners has said the same thing. They're shite .

I sold mine after using it twice. I had to redo the throttles using my old faithful instrument.

The person who bought it off me (who's on the site, and can juggle a spanner) did exactly the same within a week of buying it from me.

I never said they were so great. YOU said they were shite. So what are you comaring it with?

Don't bother answering on my account. I don't care.
