I suspected that it might just be my battery which was struggling through the winter - ABS light would often come on, ABS wouldn't engage until I turned ignition off / back on.
Since the thaw the ABS has been fine but I've noticed that once the bike is warm (and especially in start/stop traffic) I'm getting misfires / loss of power and even once stalled.
A day after this misfire the clock also now switches itself off completely when the ignition is turned off.
The thing that makes me think "not battery" is that it starts fine now.
I suppose all of the above could be totally unrelated but any insights gratefully received.
