Hi I'm wanting to fit a HID conversion to my 2003 1150 GS.

Can anybody reccomend a good supplier? or advise my what type will fit my bike? I'm just looking to replace the crappy headlights.

All comments appreciated!

I bought a 50w dual hid kit from ebay from these people

they were recommended highly on ADVrider and I can't fault the kit or the price, under £40 shipped. Fitting took about an hour and the difference in light output is nothing short of stunning. The ballasts are the larger type, and I have them under the beak on my bike. There's a great thread on fitting hid's to an 1150 with really clear pictures and descriptions on advrider too.

+1 for a 50W Dipped and Main kit from Les Wassal.

Have a look at his thread HERE

Delivered within 2 days and fitted in under an hour. His kits come with excellent fitting instructions specific to your bike as well :thumb

Astoundingly better than the 35W kits you see everywhere.

Got mine from Ebay, £100.00 in total for x2 35 watt kits from Hong Kong delivered. That enabled me to convert both dipped and main beam as well as the x2 Micro DE's... Been using them for a couple of years now with no issues.....

Just bought a 55 watt kit as an upgrade from a UK seller for £60.00

I'll let you know how I get on:thumb
