Why don't you lift the tank and follow the wires from the Ignition switch loom to the connector located at the headstock (orange connector). You can then see which wire goes where with relation to the wiring diagram.

Simple really.

violet - not used
green - F1 fuse box, engine stop switch, ignition coil, abs warning relay, horn relay, load relief relay, alternator
grey/black stripe - light switch, warning lights panel
grey - F2 fuse box
