Finally completed the clutch and the bike is back together.

I have managed to snap the lug on the airbox where the engine breather tube attaches. Question is, can I just buy an external engine breather filter and attach ir to the engine tube rather than trying to plastic weld the lug back on???

Suggestions on a postcard to......

Thanks again

Without seeing the part you are talking about I cant offer a lot of help, but I presume you are talking about a barbed plastic part of the airbox that has snpped off, I would think creative use of Araldite or JB weld and ingenuity would be better than fitting some breather that sits on the end of the hose, you would still have the hole in the airbox to fill anyway, if the rubber hose internal size is a popular size then the plumbers merchants might offer a number of solutions.

Sounds like the one on the RHS (sitting on the bike). If I'm right it feeds air AND oil mist from the crankcase to the airbox. Don't racers still run a pipe to an old Castrol bottle lashed to the rear frame - or am I stuck in the seventies?

I've got a crappy looking (gone grey) 1100 airbox if you need one - nothing a lick of paint won't hide.
