Bought mine nearly 10 years ago for just over 4 grand ( came with bmw luggage, so I spent anther 500 quid to change it) don't really know what its worth now, its an all year round bike, 69k miles and kept outside, having said that I can't see me ever selling it

1150GSA used values are starting to overtake those of early 1200s and I predict the gap will increase over time.
