You understand wrong, gloss white are Police spec and matt white (SE) can still be bought.

How long did it take to clean the mud off from riding through that puddle?
(Or how long did it take to wheel it backwards, avoiding the mud, to park it there?)

... as one of the three allocated to and sold by Ocean was apparently re-sprayed Black before delivery to it's new owner

Er need another register for ones that started off as primer (Aluminium White 
) but had the tank, beak, seat and tail unit swapped from a black one in stock (cos the black one didn't have black engine and low first gear).

And one for white SE's pretending to be black ones by having a black seat and black baglux cover fitted to cover old tanks so the owners can off road them again without worrying about smashing up new tanks and thus keeping all the minty SE stuff minty so that in years to come they can still sell them to suckers, I mean collectors of classic motorcycles at over inflated prices.

Took me kin ages to get there avoiding those puddles ! It was still being run-in, hence I didn't publish the rear view as you would have noticed the dead bugs on my number plate.
