Cracking prices, I believe the only reason they havent sold yet is Christmas and people are a little reluctant to spend because of the credit crunch.

If I didnt have one already, I would be banging your door.[/QUOTE

Cracking prices? Betty do you really mean that, IMO i thinks its a little high but that only my opinion:D

Yes I do think it's a good price. I almost parted with mine a few months ago for in the region of 7 grand, and mine's is an 05. But then again, the 05's are faster, as everyone knows

Add me to the list, just picked mine up this morning.
I love it already.
Going to have to get a low seat though.
Anybody got one or any ideas.

If you want to keep the original looks then why not have the original cover taken off.. the foam replaced - lower and higher quality for no loss of comfort and then the cover replaced.

just as easy I suppose to go for a different cover. (one-off)

try Tony Archer in Huddersfield - http://www.tonyarcher.co.uk/

Nothing stopping you selling the seat - there's a healthy demand for them - in which case the options for replacement are many and varied. Expensive too though.

One available now on ebay!

Where are you getting the nifty cover with the blue accents. The only ones I've seen have red accents. Nice looking bikes.

Steve,

bike looks the biz! Enjoy.

I thought I needed the low seat when I got mine, but persevered with it. I wouldn't like to try it without the original now. I say give it a go and after the first few trips, you may well grow to love and appreciate the extra height.

In my opinion as you say the bike is so much nicer to ride with the original seat on but very difficult to manhandle when stopped and thats where the low seat comes in so handy. To be honest I would prefer slightly lower suspension as per the standard GS as I am nevber going to go on an enduro with it - just my tuppence.
