In preparation for our Mongolia trip I've removed the servo/abs and fitted an Eprom chip but cannot decide whether to use the standard chip or not.

I'll post my thoughts on the 21" front wheel when I've tried it properly.

yes it is,he copyed me :augie

PS ....... So putting the single seat on the GSA means you put the rear end / rack of a GS on :)

So having done this when you fitted your GSA Top Box and mounting bracket did you make a plate so all 6 bolts could clamp it down or did you leave the back 2 out

PPS ..... Here's a front veiw from the sales broucher of the GSA SE cropped ready for use as wallpaper or screen saver on your phone :bounce1

Dig that screen

Timolgra - where can I get a similar screen from please?

Love the bike :bounce1

Cheers - thanks for that. I did wonder if it looked like an MRA.

Gonna try it 4 myself - never thought of using tobinators with it

Not sure if this thread is dead, or not, but of the two GSA SEs I had one went to the Czech Republic and the other to Eire (so, unfortunately, that's two less in the UK).

leaking tank?

We've had some interesting development over in the US with some of our gas tanks cracking. 3 of us, that we know of, appear to have had a leak come from the right rear (as you are sitting on the bike) leg that hangs down out of the tank and mounts on the rubber mount. Check out our thread on ADV for pictures. Anybody around here having the same issue?

No problems with mine.....

Oh, and here's a pic of mine.

The dealer sold their last one in the hour or two that I was getting permission from SWMBO, to a guy who was holding off till Jan 06 to register.

So allegedly...... they located the last one in the UK, (London dealer) which was assembled and on a display stand in their showroom.

They wouldn't release it and it ended up in a phone call to the top dog at BMW motorad UK, who made them pack it up and ship it off to me.

Only prob was, I wanted it for the next day, for a Highlands trip. So I got the crated one and t'other guy got the very last one shipped from London.

I was led to believe I did the deal for the very last UK one on 21/9/05 and took delivery next day. :monkeypiz

I know where the last one in the UK is, in a shed somewhere......And i've seen it in the flesh.

It's owned by BMW and comes out on high days and holidays, got 7 miles on it, all done pushing it from the lorry to the show stand apparently....:thumb

Tank cover

Anyone have a line on where to get the white/blue tank cover these days? The ebay shop seems to be out of commish.
It looks like I might get a new tank and I think I'd like to keep it in good shape for a while.
Thanks

Should be able to get one here:

Don't think you can order them online from the above site but you should be able to order one over the phone. Their contact details are at the bottom of the page...:thumb2
