Hi..I need to replace the left hand heated grip on the gs as its not working. I could also do with replacing both hand grips as they are worn down to nothing. Can anyone tell me if the grip on the throttle side can be changed without buying the complete heated unit?? Thanks folks.

I changed my grips for same reason and just involved cutting old grips off and sliding new ones on with the addition of some hairspray sprayed inside to keep them in place once on.

Yep, you can carefully slice it off and buy a new one. Use hairspray as a lubricant when reinstalling the new one:thumb2

I replaced mine just the other day - got the replacement rubbers from Motorworks.

I did a pictorial thing a while back on ADVrider. Ignore the bit about having to buy two sets of rubers and using the throttle side one off each - Motoworks replacements fitted fine...
