....what happened to them?

I used my GS for the first time on unlight roads last night. The head light seemed bright enough but rather ineffectual. Is this a common thing? The spread of light was errr....weird.

Are there any good mods that you guys have done that I need to know about?

It's a never ending story of 'mods' and 'add ons' with the lovely GS, and I thought the KTM supermoto was bad.... ;)

Thanks in advance for any help

Do a search for "Auxilliary Lighting", for "Migsel Light Bar" and for "BTBR customer" then sit down and read for a week...

Ooooh, but it's fun!

I have been to see Alan, (BTBR) and it is well worth the visit.
I have also got some PIAA super white bulbs from Nippy Norman, £30 a bulb but well worth it for sure. I would try the bulbs first and "see" how you go:thumb

Your a couple miles away from me - sort yourself out a light kit, and i'll fit it for you one afternoon . :thumb

contact me if you need any info ;)

Having pondered the same dilemma with my 1150, I fitted HID kit to dip, and having seen the difference will do the main as well, the difference is day and night, and just as important, people can see you better even in daylight with HID
Plenty of threads about it, will cost you a couple of hundred, if your budget can stretch, do it .
