1150 rattle

have a rattle/knock from my 1150engine when hot traced it to lhs throttle body ,when i put pressure on cable cam it goes away does anyone know a fix apart from replace whole body

SCIMINNGER ENGINEERING will replace the throttle body bushes for about£50 a side not to far from you Louth in Lincolnshire,had mine done by Steve excellent job.

Unusual for the left side to go. The TPS seems to act as a bit of a damper preventing the wear that usually occurs on t`other side.

providing the butterflies are arent worn jus take throttle bodies off with injectors removed and any decent engineering firm can rebush them ,i did mine with phosphur bronse bushes (self lubing),werent hard to do il be doin them end of the year for people,good luck
