Hi all.

Puchased a workshop manual and looks like i wont get it before the weekend.
I could really do with the data for the tappets.
And does the end float require shims to adjust.

I would be very greatfull in anyone could help

Cheers

John

0.15mm inlet, 0.3mm exhaust, measured with engine cold. Rocker end float should be around 0.05mm but that's the minimum recommended (max is around 0.3mm but the smaller it is the quieter the valve gear will be and the more consistent the valve clearances.

Adjusting rocker end float involves slackening a head bolt - best you don't do this without knowing torque settings etc so wait for your manual. But no shims are required.

Do the end float before the valve clearances.
