I do 1000 a month & have done the last 3 years, it developed an engine ping on acceleration & it can be very loud when it's hot.
It comes & goes to some extent but there most the time, on cold starts in cold weather, it back fires into the starter sometimes.
Had BMW look at it few month ago, £200, 2 new spark plugs & I was told it's good but really nothing changed.
Any brilliant ideas?
