1150GS running roughly after battery change

I have just changed the battery on my 1150GS. It's now not running well. Not sure what the problem is and I would be grateful for some advice.

After changing the battery I kept to the instructions in the manual and switched on the ignition and opended the throttle a couple of times to syncronise the motronic. After starting it was rough and I expected that to sort itself out while the motronic reset itself, but it hasn't. I have also removed the fuse 5 to reset the motronic but to no avail.

Any ideas of what I can do next to sort this out. She was running perfectly before the change of battery.

Any advice gratefully received.

Have a look to see if the throttle cables have moved out of position with the adjuster.

MasterDabler, thanks very much for your reply. I have just gone to the right throttle cable and unclipped it. She is now running sweetly. Mini-crisis over.

Graham. Glad it worked out OK.... easy to knock out of place when moving the tank etc....
Such a simple thing but ... can cause a lot of consternation.
