1150r Instrument cluster question

My clock, speedo and rev counter are slightly loose in the cubby holes. How do I tighten them, or are they meant to a be wiggly? I tried tightening the speedo by the torx on the rear but that's not solved anything. Anyone had similar? Its like a loose tooth. Wiggly but there..

Rubber grommets perished, support loose? You'll have to go deeper!

Cheers, Its not affecting operation, but from the diagram it seems likely to be either the perished grommets and a damper ring. Its def tight and not falling out. Its looser at the front and if I shoved a toothpick in from the front it's probably sort this, so that's my guess. Thanks
