12 G/S satnav set up advice

Looking to fit a satnav, probably a Zumo, to my G/S. Can anyone share pictures of their set ups?

I have a samsung galaxy tab 3 active mounted on the oem nav bracket. it runs the bmw app and uses the wonder wheel. I also have DMD2 installed and control that with a bluetooth remotek one.

Thanks for that. Does the unit sit above the standard G/S screen? I'm using my iPhone/Waze on a powered/dampened SP Connect bracket attached to the handlebars but I feel it's been shaken to bits.

Yes it fits nicely above, as would a phone. If I knew how to share a pic I would. I’ll try tomorrow

I’ve only picked my bike up. It has the BMW connected thingy so I’m using my iPhone and the Motorrad app. I’d also like to use my nav 5 at times . Is there a dedicated power take off for the BMW mount or will I have to use the din plug ? ( I have a BMW mount already adapted).

Could you share a picture of the BMW mount? Vertu Exeter are asking £800(!!!) for the nav prep on my GS so I think I will pass.

I can, but it’s not the mount that’s expensive it’s the wonder wheel etc. The mount itself just clamps to the bars and is like a quad lock mount.
