1200 GSA Insurance....

Have you tried Adelaide Insurance or if they are no cheaper, do an IAM or ROSPA course to get your premium down, (cheaper than changing your postcode).

http://www.adelaideinsurance.com/

If you do the BikeSafe day course (I did the one at Ace Cafe) you get a whopping 10% off BMW Insurance........the same as if I did RoSPA or IAM !

Not bad for £30 and the chance to see bike coppers in a very different light........quite human after all :)

Already covered off in another thread but I thought it worthwhile to include the message here- if you're planning to go to Morocco be aware that most insurance companies won't cover you!! Only discovered this nugget recently and it will affect when I go to Morocco.

Honestly....James Bond never has to put up with this shit!!! :D

Just £37.29 to add to my existing 3 week old Ebike comprehensive policy, making a total of £157.61 to cover my much modified Thruxton and 1200GS.

The joys of being over 50 :rob

Whenever you get a renewal, go back to the same website and enter your details - you'll be surprised.

Some kind of new record!

I think I've set some new kind of record here - £90029.10 with telequote and equity red star :eek Ok, so it's an 08 GS as opposed to GSA but they're not THAT unreliable surely???

Forty two, self employed, work in the media - my renewal came in from Europa General at £ 295.00, fully comp, £500 excess but thought I'd shop around. Results attached :D

I've since got a quote fom e-bike for £234, fully comp, £200 excess including helmet and leathers, legal, 365 days foreign travel etc :aidan
