How do you insure you're 1200 whilst transporting on a trailer?
Where would you make a claim should the unexpected happen
Are you covered by your bike insurance?
Are you covered by your car insurance?
Do you need seperate insurance?
Any advice would be much appreciated :thumb2

You need to check the wording of your policy - my bike is covered when it's on a trailer under my bike policy.

Most do, but it's likely to be 3rd party only on the trailer...just to protect other road users.

The NFU do it fully comp on the trailers though I believe, because obviously they're aiming at the rural types who may tow a lot.

Things change a lot though, and terms are becoming stricter and tighter across the board (E.g. a lot of companies don't include 3rd party cover on other people's vehicles automatically now:blast) as they tighten their belts to pay for that nice Mr Wapping's chrimbo dinner and bonus :augie

The only way of knowing for sure is to ask the question directly....and CHECK IT IN THE DOCUMENT just in case.
