1200GS Backfire/popping on overrun

Yup, me too

Innit great? Picked mine up on Tuesday and got it popping on the way back from the dealer. If I completely close the throttle, it's fine but if I crack it just a tad...pop pop pop pop.

My June 2004 bike does it as does my mates July 05 with the modified silencer. Both bikes checked for leaks, none found. Maybe its Character!

Don't start

There's nothing wrong with the standard exhaust, unless you think that being offensively loud and screwing up the fuelling are desirable qualities

....I was waiting for this comment!! I'd honestly say there's no major difference in anything except noise and looks with the remus. I personally don't think is screws the fuelling up, just by how the bike rides - HOWEVER the noise is a tad better IMHO
