Had a race this morning with a K3 GSXR 600 or 750 (i wasn't able to ascertain which version as the numbers had been removed), what a laugh!
We started off down the slip road where the GS's torque was just sublime, Mr Gixer is in full crouch and the race can was bellwoing out the scream of his motor at full pelt, and there am i gracefully side-by-side with him, sitting upright, throttle to the stop, on my standard GS with 1200 miles on the clock

We continued, and the GS was still pulling at 125, Mr GIxer was still crouching and revving (the zorst was loud) and i was still there right behind him composed and relaxed (i could have been sitting there reading a broadsheet -it was that kind of composure)
In fairness he did manage to pull a little distance once he got to the top of his powerband, but once he changed gear the GS just caught up simply due to the torque and gearing!
I just wanted to share the sublimeness of my 1200

(i don't condone racing on public highways...but it sometimes just happens...your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage etc...)
This thing is just so much fun!
