I felt a right donkey, I'm used to having double the rev range, great bikes though.

Im happy to say my problem with my gs shuttering when opening up the throttle is over serviced the bike today when changing spark plugs [dcpr8ekc] found one with a crack on the insulator put new set in [dcpr8eix] and everything is perfect when at high speeds / nothing to do with throttle control or expecting the bike to be like my fireblade .HAPPY DAYS.

I had a similar problem when traveling at motorway speeds, when you opened the throttle the was a hesitation then it would pick up. First thing I checked were the spark plugs (always start with the simple things). The insulator was cracked on one of the plugs, a set of new ones and hesitation gone. If you've got a suitable spark plug spanner give it a go.
