hi mate have just ordered a se and the low seat option is available just not as standard from the factory
you have to buy the seat seperatly £150 going to keep the origonal if i ever decide to sell the bike on
also the low seat only comes in black not two tone as on the se origonal spec cheers

just ordered one today - taken in my 02 speed triple with the 53 plate GS1150 to follow, this is my present after the wife b******d off 2 1/2 weeks ago. Misano hre i come in September.

I have one with akro, best looking bilke I have ever bought.
don't ask for picks as I dont have a clue how to.
Was going to sell my 1150gsa se and order the 1200se,then found out i need to go into hospital and could be anything upto 16wks off the bike.
I had to agree with Joanne that a brand new bike waiting to be ridden would just be to tempting.So i am going to wait until i have been out of hospital for 4wks then order.Hopefully the timing will be just right.
Also hope the pannier deal is still on although i would be wanting alloy panniers.
It will be something to look forward to,because of my hospital stay we have already had to cancel our planned trip to the Italian lakes via the alps and back up through france

I pick mine up on Saturday from Bahnstormer's. Only 6 more sleeps - can't wait particularly as I sold my 05 R1200GS last week so will have been bikeless for two whole weeks. Atrociously bad planning on my part - but good deals on both the sale and purchase and its only time!

Picked mine up from Vines yesterday. Forgot how much fun these GSs were. And got mine at a bargain price.....less than the 11.4k!!
Will get some phots up soon. Like the idea of the Special edition sticker.....maybe Black 1200 with Grey SPECIAL EDITION to match the seat?
