Moving back to a 1200 after a fun year on a 800 Adventure Im told by my dealer nothing goes wrong with the new LC.
I already know for a fact that there are problems
1 cruise control failures
2 heated grip issues
3 sat Nav lock barrels falling out
4 windscreen support pins falling out
5 water pump failures and fluid leaking breather holes.
So go on then WHAT ELSE CAN GO WRONG.
Cheers

The clutch in my 2014 GSA failed last week.
First noticed something was wrong when I experienced difficulty engaging neutral. Dealer said the gearboxes are a bit clunky but had a look at it and agreed mine was worse than expected and booked it in for the following week.

The clutch then started slipping when revved hard.

But to be fair my local dealer is replacing it under warranty so no complaints.

Why on earth would you want to buy one with all these faults.....:rolleyes
On my 2nd. LC, nowth went wrong.

Fell out with my sports bike riding friends as they hated being beaten in the twisties by a lardy adventure bike. Don't buy one.

Brilliant, great fun and now up to 6 and counting.

Everything "can" go wrong, it's just a motorcycle same as any other :blast

Been out a couple of years now so a new one should have less issues than a 2013 one.

No issues with my 2014 GSA so far other than the seal on the front brake reservoir needing replacing. Even my rear brake pads appear to be wearing fairly well (some folks have had then down to the metal in under 6,000miles if you want to add something else to your list!).

ESA - some people have had lock ups if you believe the posts here

Are you suggesting that not everyone's posts here are entirely reliable :aidan

ESA - is I think just a software glitch which will clear itself and can be forced to by disconnecting the battery - so not a major problem. My 2013 GS did it once.

Only up to 7, can't believe these are that good. Picked mine up today and only got wet.

ESA problem is much more than a software glitch than can be cured by disconnecting the battery.

The ESA "problem" I am talking about can i.e the one where the suspension defaults to a limp mode ;)

What ESA problem are you referring to?
