1200GSA

Hi all, my first post. I am thinking about getting a 1200gs at the end of the winter, (first for 13 years!) and wanted to know when the 1200gs adventure is coming out. I think I would be more suited to the 1200gs as will be mainly on road but need to know more. Has anyone got spec details and dates please?

The GSA is only a firm rumour as far as I know at the moment.

My dealer seemed to think it was in the offing for q1 2006.

Needs to be a bit tougher than the 1200GS to be a proper GSA I think but I guess we'll see.

Having had my 12GS for nearly 12 months now I can confirm that if road riding is your top priority then this is your bike. The adventure will no doubt be beefed up etc but, as with the 1150 before it, the standard machine will be just as good, if not better, on the road.

Limited info was provided a couple of months ago by BMW to a meeting of UK dealer principles. Woolly launch date *said* to be Feb-Apr 2006. Most dealers are taking (refundable) deposits. More rumours here.

Yea thanks everyone, I expect it will be a 1200gs. New or secondhand though? Do BMW ever offer 0 or v.cheap finance? Mark

I've heard from my local dealer that it will be released in march ,bigger 32litre tank and touratech built luggage ...can't wait
