1250 GSA pics

So it wasn't just me that thought the new GSA looked ........ shite.
That silver bit looks like an after thought and also looks more like the standard GS.

I’m hoping it looks better when I see it. And is it just me does it sort of half wrap around the bars?so if you do drop your “adventure” bike instead of the bars just doing their job your guaranteeing some panel damage? Now bmw should wedge some sensitive electronics behind it as well so it’s a proper little earner...

Integrating the on/off switch over to the handlebar will require a new design of the switchgear. The current switchgear is LIN-bus and needs power to work.
Also the steering lock is integrated in the current On/Off switch assembly.

I see your point, as does probably BMW. May be when the next generation switchgear is out...

It's not impossible to just parallel-wire a push switch, and mount it on the handlebar. Makes keyless a lot easier to live with, for me.

In theory that is correct.

But I think there is a greater chance to see the Pope having an orgy on his balcony than BMW doing just that. :aidan

I quite liked it

I don’t like the re-designed beak.

I think the bike is a prototype. You can clearly see there is a black square in the middle of the beak. This looks like a solar panel, and it is probably to charge the extra batteries. In order to gain more HP, the bike is a hybrid, I,e it has an extra electric motor offering 50 more HP, a total of 184. The hybrid bikes are marked with the HP logo... :jager
