1250GS test ride impression

...so true, it was the offering of a spec sheet as evidence of a good bike that iced this cake of wank fairies for me.

But its got an SOS button, don’t cha know !!!
And numerous postings of it not working and fucking up the TFT.But if you happen to topple off your new steed outside Starbucks and don’t have free WiFi to call mummy, then the bike will do it for you. Just what we always needed !!!

It was a fair response to an odd post , facts sometimes make thing a little clearer .Another 1150 owner I suspect still trying to even get a stiffy let alone have a wank , back to you armchair old boy..

Bit touchy this morning, old man ? Is it snowing up there already ? Another reason for the BIG RED BUTTON !!! :-))

When have facts ever got in the way of the fantasist bollox that you normally post ? :-)

Which is exactly what my post said in response to DelBoy stating he shifted up and down with a constant throttle

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that indeed is the way i do it up and down constant throttle. And it works just fine, maybe you need to go and practice if you cant do it

Get back to thinking about that potential high speed wobble on your awesome orange steed. :P

My GS 'wobbles' at high speed just as much as my KTM did, not that much and it's manageable. This 'wobble' only starts at about 120mph and reduces as you speed up and personally I think it has as much to do with the topbox than anything else (and that includes panniers).

I'm sorry but you're wrong. Why don't you wait until you've run your bike in so you can see how much better the ShiftAssist works at higher revs and going down it only works smoothly on a shut throttle, it even tells you this in the manual.

Oh so you are on my bike with me when i do it ? Mmmm, Don’t think so, im doing that and if you can’t get your noggin round it then too bad, i wont be bothered about it.

So you’re saying the GSAP works better on a downshift with a bunch of revs rather than a closed throttle ?
And you wonder why some don’t take you seriously!! :-)
