We are quite happy to discuss or hear about problems, that's what the site is for, and most of us have learnt a lot form other's exepriences, but your posts (by your own admission) have become pathetic wind ups and you are now on my shit list.

Well done matey, I'm sure the Honda will be fine,enjoy, i'll continue to urge newcomers not to buy BMUU, I read all of this and the usual suspects post the usual replies, so don't feel picked on they pick on anyone who dares to criticise the gods of bavaria, me usually and howard of course but I like rattling their cages, its a sport.

It's a web forum for GS owners. Are you surprised that folk get defensive about what they have spent substantial amounts of money on? Particularly if it does what it says on the tin without any problems. Like mine. And lots of others on here.

Yes, they go wrong every now and then. They're mechanical objects; it's inevitable. But so did my Hondas that I've owned. So there you go.

Bugger, Jimb is on my ignore list, and when you quote him, it means i'm subjected to his razor sharp wit and insightfull comments, and it scares me enough to consider buying a different model of bike, after all, he must be right. He says so .

CB 1300 S ordered up the weekend. Seems Im not the first to switch to the bike from GS riders. Dealer said many like it for its 'planted' feel and aftersales. So, Ill see how I fare.
