I've adjusted my low beam so that it lights up the rear of a car, when a safe distance away (Safety for me, above the short lived annoyance of a car driver)

Is there any way to independantly lower my High Beam as it's only good for spotting aircraft and bridges now :D

Not independently of the low beam.

But if you go round fast left handers you can see all you want :D

Right hander's are not the sort of thing you want to do on a gs12 at night :(

Has enyone tried changing the lights to a more conventional set? Ie: ones that point where you are going.

I had the same trouble recently and found that the 'tang' on the high beam bulb was not sitting in the slot correctly, causing the bulb to be offset in the lens, which could be clearly seen when viewing both bulbs in situ. (with the lights off!).A brief 'pliers' moment later and all was well!
