I'd agree with Trev, the TKCs are great in the dry, but I just don't like them in the wet, thinking of getting a set of Tourances on my when ever I get it back...
Crunch time this morning just waiting for the dealer to call back to confirm everything ,i'v also thought about the panniers and her indoors said that i might as well get it all in one go , so who am i to argure , so it looks like it will be all box's ticked bar the fog lights . so much for keeping the costs down !
1. Stainless steel crash bars that rust. Only BMW could manage this.
2. Crash bars that bend away in a crash therefore defeating the purpose.
3. Over inflated price, so £900 off appears to make it a bargain. Oldest selling trick in the book.
Needed transport i have been useing my M3 to commute and it was getting a bit much the suspension is rock hard and london roads a bit rough , and when i last spoke to dealers about availability of gsa'a they were taking weeks / months to get hold so i thought the 1150 would be a safe bet depreciation wise in the interim and save wear on the car any my back !
I'm just curious as to why someone would pick up their new bike and immediately consider changing. It's something I've never understood, no matter what the marque. We have all seen bikes with very low mileage in a stealers shop.
