I got online quotes for Carole Nash ( my insurers) and a quote reference number. Rang back and it was all ok. When I tried initially to get a quote via phone- no quote.

The lottery of insurance - Bikesure renewal £402 with £500 x/s for a R1300GS TE Trophy with non standard 'cosmetic' exhaust. Used Confused for a comparison and then phoned adding the exhaust. Hastings Premier £254 with £250 x/s - a full £0.77 extra for adding the exhaust! How many people actually auto renew and would never know about the potential savings? Age 57/16yrs NCB Protected/Scotland.
