I can only speak as I have found.
2 x 1200gs
1x 1250gs
2x 1300gs
1x S1r
All with excellent brakes.
Some people may have had bikes with brakes not performing to max for various reasons, a design fault (your default position on anything BMW) seems to be easily ruled out based on the majority. Plus, the Bennetts brake distance test clearly shows reduced braking distance on the new v old model.
Exactly ? why you need to be such a pillock on this forum is anyones guess.
Maybe furnish us with your vin plate/chassis numbers etc. so we can make sure our bikes are not the same production run....one of your suggestions on another thread.. Maybe post up a picture of the offending Brembo calipers..
All things being equal, IF your brakes lack the racetrack sharp bite you desire, then upgrade the pads like a big boy.
The GS is a tourer, it has not been set up for one finger braking. It does not mean the brakes don't work.
"hindering owners with real concerns"
Let us vist this. Spewing bullshit as fact will not help owners with actual issues.
