1300RT…..

I'm really happy that I have the 1250RT. It retains much of the styling charm the RT lineage has always had. This new thing looks like a plastic toy from a transformers set! Very Teutonic and all square edges and sharp lines. The price is enough to put me off even if the styling isn't. I won't be tempted! Love the 1250 which is what I'll stay with.
The 1250 is a beautiful bike. The 1300 is an abomination…

I quite like the look of the new model, can't wait to see it in the flesh, and eventually ride one if my Bloodbike group start to replace our older 1250s with them!

Looks “challenged” on paper, but so have many others incl the recent GSA13. BMWs of late look better in the flesh.
What I do not doubt, is that its going to be a cracking bike to tour on. But £30k…. Ouch.
Given depreciation curves of all RTs, paying 11-13k privately for a mint sub 10k mile bike in a couple of years will be the way to go in my opinion.

Nope, seen it in the flesh and it still looks like an air source heat pump :D
