14th year!

Good news re beds. MickDB1 has been here last few days with his lovely wife Janet. They have checked out the local area and found an excellent place just up the road from me.
This Belgian chap has some beautiful gites which he rents out by the night, not weekly.

The host, Francis, told me "If the rest of your friends are as nice as Mick and Janet, then it will be a pleasure to host them".

He offered to drive people to/from our house.
He has three gites with multiple beds. Possibly some of you could share a multi bedroom place?

Google "Ecogite Le Luquet Saint Beauzil 82150"

MickDB1, do you have their weblink?

I'm up for sharing please.

Sid - have now booked annual leave & am still pulling my plan together; is there a 'bed' available (bed, sofa/blanket, sleeping mat/bag)?

Either team up to share a gite as noted above or you can crash out in the games room. I have a temp bed and spare mattresses. They can go in place of the table tennis table.

Mattress & a blanket suits me nicely ;)

You took Francis's card with yer Sid
I booked with booking .com
Le Luquet is the site
Francis and Louisea have a cottage sytle accom with kitchenette Massive AGA ( french equiv)
Its own underground cave and a swimming pool ( shared of course with other guests)
Ita a rate spot - I loved it and at 50 quid ish a night for 2 ( double bed but there were 2 bunk beds)
It may be more if there is more.
Second was the pigeoner. ( not been inside but it will be grand - Double bed)
3rd is special I think 1 double 1 single room and a2 single room
Stunning lounge and terrace overlooking the big Valley.
Its all a bit oldyworldy yet working and private and not quiet but silent.
2.7 km from Sids about 7 miles from MDQ and 4 miles from Rocaquor pub and Aussie landlord.
It may be the best place I have every stayed in for being happy comfy and rested.
We had that range fired up like 60103

In Canfrac with shite wifi so no pics of Sid winning everyone in pub at pool.
Mick :D:D:rob

Me too, if available and not too much trouble, please.

No problem. We have a large outbuilding which is a games room with table tennis, pool table and gym. We have beds mattresses and space for many. All good, comfortable and no charge.

Yes Iain,
Need to actually use it, rather than just sitting there.

I'm sure you'll both be visiting camp sites en route (I stopped camping after Assen MotoGP lasts year) but if any of you want to meet up for the evening then I'm up for that.

We all are used to traveling solo but it's nice to chat in the evening.

I know it's not for a long time yet but I thought I'd raise the question now.

I'm very flexible (once I get to France)!

MY plan is overnight on the ferry, and then just hoon down the motorway ... early start - late arrival lol

Looks a great trip and weekend.
