1880 Coventry machinists tricycle

Came across this last weekend.
It was at the Constable run for pre 1940 bikes organised by the Sunbeam club.
The owner bought it as a pile of bits 30 years ago and the restoration took him 3 years.
It was made pre tarmac roads of course and the Penny Farthing was only invented 9 years before this Coventry was made.

The cost of it then makes todays high end bikes look cheap!
