For sale as I now own a genuine UK 86 Paris Dakar ... which I always seem to ride.
July 24 used it for a great trip round Normandy beaches, Sept 24 it did Colombres Rally. Never had any problems does 54 mpg & uses no oil.
I bought it as a Covid project in Dec 20 from Hogie on this parish, who had just had the fuel tank painted to very high standard. 24 litre so great range.20210212_110234.jpg20210222_140020.jpg20210226_161348.jpg20210127_143520.jpg20210304_163045.jpg20240317_163219.jpg20260630_155423.jpg20260630_155405.jpg20260630_155351.jpg20260630_155055.jpg20260630_155118.jpg

Also, I have never posted a video before, but for the sale of my 1100gs I uploaded the video onto YouTube and then copied the link onto my sales post. I’ve had nearly 1000 views of the video.

This bike is the dogs bollox, i know Ian very well and have seen and owned some of his meticulous bike and car restorations , this bike i would think is better than new , and if i did not have a bumble bee GS or more money in the bank i would have it myself ….its a bargain at that price and to achieve a similar solid mechanical and cosmetic restoration like this would cost certainly double if not triple !

Wonderful job - if I did not have my basic I would be calling you. My favourite colour and model of Paralever (Basic aside).

GLWS.

Stunning looking bike you’ve created with that restoration.
There are times I agree when folk say original patina keeps the soul of a bike but in this case if I had the spare cash that would be the perfect bike to amble through Western Europe over a month or three.

GLWS 👍

Having a 1200 gs adv that has decided to turn it's self into scrap electronically this looks a very good option, old school reliability with no frills.

Where about in west Yorkshire are you ?
