Just brought my 1st GS 2003 1150. Big decision to change from the Fireblade but after 250 miles yesterday, 2 up with the wife, no complaints. Nice to get home without back/wrist ache/a*$e and ear ache, and having been able to see over the tops of the hedges etc, rather than look through them! What a green and pleasant land we live in.
Mate with a Blackbird had a go and he was quite inpressed too! Maybe another convert.

:) :) :) :) :) :)

WELCOME

to the club :)

Its also great for riding in the winter rain and snow :D

Watch out, there are some strange people on this forum (not to mention a few tossers too!!)

:P

ENJOY

Thanks for the welcome, one of the reasons for buying is to ride all year round, what do i need to look out for re corosion etc.:)

After emptying a can of ACF-50 over my GS at the weekend I'll let you know in March :)

With regard to corrosion the GS does have a couple of problem areas but go to the technical forum and do a search on corrosion and you should find all the info you need.

Don't forget to go to the 'The BeakChat and Bollox (the Virtual Pub)' forum. This is where most GSers unwind without getting drunk. Like any pub it is always frequented by certain individuals. The poor moderator always has a full time job in this forum.

Welcome aboard mate

Keep an eye on Ride Outs section, lots of tossers very close to you.

Its also worth a mention that we have a meeting tomorrow night at the Fish & Anchor, Offenham, which is just outside Evesham.

Lots of tossers here :P

From you, Stratford upon Avon, then Bidford, over the bridge then carry on for about a mile then turn right towards Cleeve Prior, keep on that road and then follow the diversion signs posted to the Fish.

Warning......... it is out in the sticks some what..!!

Maybe see you there?

Cheers

BTBR
