Just thought I'd share my thoughts on my pride and joys first service today. Done just in time for next weekends GOTC meeting 
I had over shot the run way on this by 300 miles but was told it wasn't too critical. I Have to say I'm 100% satisfied with Pidcock's service. Free loan bike whilst mine was in and ready to collect bang on time.
Now the interesting part. I couldn't believe the difference in the bike after I'd picked her up! Of course I had been trying to run her in as per BMW's instructions
but feck me what a change 
Now I'm back home with a brew and I'm thinking may be this is all physiological and there really wasn't much difference, kind of like when you clean your bike she always seems to go better 
but she seemed quieter, smoother and much quicker. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Does any one else care? And man the fun there is to be found on the happy side of 6,500 RPM 
But I do know this bike rocks
