2002 R1150GS that I have owned from new.
Black engine and gearbox with reliable non-sevo ABS and heated grips.
39,000 miles, full and comprehensive service history.
She has had full fluid changes every year regardless of mileage (Clutch, brake, gearbox, final drive, engine).
She has always lived indoors apart from when on tour. "The usual corrosion" does not apply, she is in superb condition; spokes including nipples, wheels, paintwork, frame/subframe engine cases are all corrosion free. The exhaust headers are shiny and clean as well! Recent road 6 tyres are fitted along with a new advisory free MOT. The photos actually don't do her justice in my opinion, zoom in on them to get an idea of how good she is.

When I bought her from Hughindons M40 I also had a Remus Y-piece and silencer fitted. The originals are like new and come with the bike along with the standard seat, screen and screen side pods.
The current seat is a low version and she is also fitted with:

Wunderlich lower footrests
Touratech duel rear LED lights (rare)
Wishbone frame hard part
BMW stainless engine bars
Fender extender
Side panels (rare)
Hugger
Motech spot light bar with quality CREE LEDs operated via the indicator cancel switch.
Bar pad.
Bar end sliders.
Headlight protectors.
Yoke protector.
GSA Screen and beak.
Migsal sat nav mount.
Various paint protection.
Tank ring and 2 bags.
Tank cover (currently not fitted).

In addition to the regular maintenance I have replaced the hall sensor as a preventative measure (original included), internal pump fuel filter (as scheduled) and lines, full Venhill black stainless braided hoses, stainless GSA clutch hose. I consider the clutch slave as a service item, with the last one being fitted a couple of years ago.
From new I even removed and copper greased the exhaust nuts and studs along with the fuel tank studs, so they will all come apart with ease.
All calipers are mint, corrosion free and operate as new. Front and rear shocks are also spotless and the bike handles superbly.
I have all the original paperwork from new including the bill of sale. She also comes with spares that I bought "just in case" but never needed including a second like new tank in blue/white. The owner's handbook is there, spare keys, stamped service book, second service book as I have run out of space recording servicing in the first book as she is serviced yearly regardless of mileage.
I'm selling as she is just no longer used enough. The last few years have seen minimal mileage between MOTs (never had an advisory, always passed first time).

She comes with a full set of BMW panniers and top box, all in excellent condition with the panniers keyed alike.

So onto the price.....
She will seem "toppy" compared to others, but you are getting a corrosion free 1150 all running sweetly. Is she the best out there? Well I don't know, but she must be a contender. If your looking for one that hasn't been "used as she should be" and " ridden not cleaned" here she is.

There's simply no fuckin way that thing has done 39k miles. What a stunning example of the breed.
Good luck with your sale Sir. What an absolute beauty.

Looks fantastic! 😎
The 1150 was the best BMW I’ve owned and the Tesco version was always the colour I really wanted but couldn’t get. Been promising myself if ever one came up in that condition that I’d grab it with both hands.

Murphy’s law (and the bank manager) dictates that I’m not able to just send you a cheque and if the 800DE wasn’t such a good bike I’d be sorely tempted to see if you fancied doing a part ex against it so that I could finally get the 1150 I always regretted never being able to find. 😍

GLWTS 👍
