Finally accepted my knees and back are no longer up to riding. That’s why my bike has barely done anything other than MOT and back for the last few years. So here it is for sale. The bike had an engine from Sherlocks put in but not before it was completely sorted by the guys at Moll Springs in Honley. This included powder coating the frame and engine, as well as new oil pump, clutch etc etc. The work was done in February 2019 and as you will see from the pictures of MOTs I've barely used the bike. Part of the issue is I'm too cramped on it and I did have the seat reupholstered but the ride height effectively remained the same albeit easier on the butt. Includes the private plate. All I've had to do to it since the major rebuild is heated grips replaced, front callipers overhauled, new pistons and pads etc.

Asking price is £2,100

It's such a shame it isn't getting used, and deserves to be ridden by someone who can benefit from the work put in. Cosmetically, it's clearly not mint, the bars and top yolk could do with paint. Other than that the pictures are a fair representation. Obviously any prospective buyer is welcome to come see and try it, and I'm in HD8 not far from the M1 Jnct 39

I can vouch for Steve. Long time friend with a benevolent penchant for investing in his cars & bikes so they are ‘just right’ regardless of cost. This is a bargain given the amount of time & money he’s thrown at it & whoever buys it won’t be disappointed.

I t might be helpful to explain the need for another engine? Or did I read that wrong? The bike looks great by the way. If I was a few inches shorter, I'd be tempted.

OK, so bought off eBay and, my feeling is seller must have known of developing problems. Within a few weeks of having it, oil pressure went and that was that. I took the view that a second hand one from Sherlocks was a better bet than all the reworking of the one that had failed. Clearly there are risks in this approach, but Andy at Moll Springs stripped it down far enough to make sure I was investing in a viable motor. It was meant to be the last bike I would ever have, hence my putting so much in to it. However, that's now true but for the wrong reasons!

just put some 1150GS footrests on it, bend the rear brake line a bit, fit bar risers and its a mini GS. loved my 02. good price

First and final reduction, on here, then it's off on eBay if not sold soon. Not desperate jut made my mind up =it's going one way or the other. Anyhoo, I can't seem to edit the original so price now £1950
