Always interested, but I prefer to go to the Altes-Elefantentreffen
at the Nurburgring on 27-29-02, because it is a bit smaller rally,
and in bad weather with snowy roads the distance is still doable; since I had some troubles coming back from a winterrally in Denmark some years ago, 900km on a icy German highway, I prefer to stay a bit closer to home during the winter..

Zwerver,

Myself and MrTickle is going to the Altes-Elefantentreffen in February. Do we need to register anywhere or just rock up with our bikes? Will be booking the eurostar soon so anyone else that might be interested let me know.

Cheers

Hi Maverick,

no, no need to register anywhere, just turn up at the Camping am Ring, pay your camping-fee for the weekend, and have fun!
At the camping, just before the small brigde there a field at the right side, which is "our" campsite for the weekend; just look for
either my black adv, or my very colourfull Dominator...

Well that is myself(and Michelle) + MrTickle + Rusty booked for eurotunnel the 26th February at 20:00 to Calais. Will probably B&B/camp somewhere in France the evening and then head out early morning on Friday the 27th to Nurburgring.

Returning on Sunday the 29th having to make the eurotunnel at 18:00.

If any one else fancy camping in the snow and having an "interesting" trip to the Altes-Elefantentreffen let us know.

Zwerver dude see you there!

ohhh how exciting :moped:

Maverick,

its app. 180 miles from Calais to Tilburg, so if you don't mind a late night ride you could come to my place instead of camping
in France for the night; There's enough space in my garage for a few more bikes, and some hot chocolate/whiskey/beer can be arranged...

Mhmm Whiskey..

Hi Mate,

Thanks for you generous offer and we will accept greatfully. That will be me, Michelle, Rusty and Mr Tickle, Darkhorse is still pondering but we might swing his decision soon with some more temptations to be at one of the most unique coldish camping events of the year.

Will confirm closer to the time more details.

Cheers
