2004 Strange Servo ABS issue

The 2007+ conti ABS system does not adapt directly. How do you work around that?

Ahhhhh You see That was an omission that makes a difference!!

Post 2006 ABS switched to a "non Servo assist" Car type ABS unit albeit just a 2 channel version

The usual fault with these is the Brushes stick in the holders for some stupid reason BUT they can be repaired

I have fixed them with the replacement of the Motor only with a Fiesta Mk9 Abs motor a few times

You have to secure the motor with the addition of a couple of studs and hold down brackets

I think it’s disgusting that a motorcycle can have catastrophic brake failure & not get called in for a recall, the least bmw could do is sell an “upgrade” kit to remove the abs & plug in some sort of module into the pump plug to code out the faults & the pipework to make it a non abs bike.
My 05 47k has whizzy brakes & it makes me pretty nervous reading about this potential fault!
