After a 5yr gap in my 55-yr biking history I’m back on the road with a 30,000 mile 2005 GS 1200. I am happy with it except the front suspension seems very hard even on the softest setting. Information online points to replacing or repairing the shock absorber. Is there a “recognised route” for improving tired front suspension on this age GS?
