2005 Price?

This part of the BMW site shows the price as £8715:

What it doesn't say is what bits and pieces you get for that as the "build your bike" site still quotes £9275, ie £560 more than the 2005 base price.

As the usual price for the boxer ABS is £750, and I guess it'll not come with the pannier fixings at £120 (ish). Which to my calculations and guesses is that means the "new" price is £320 more than the 04 price for a similar spec level. Or a 3.5% increase.

AFAIK the £8715 price is for the non ABS version, all the little bits & bobs such as the handguards & pannier fixings come as standard on the UK versions. I belive the heated grips have gone up to nearly £200

I've just bought today (wooohoooo) and the base model is £8715 with no ABS, but the hand protectors etc are all still included.

Heated grips are now £195, and ABS is £795.....

Seems to be no movement with dealers on bike price... but if buying... haggle over the extra's... Panniers, Pannier liners etc.. with a little negotiating, i found movement there ;o)
