Got the letter today as there is a chance of cracking to the fuel pump housing?

I feel some posh coffee coming on! :thumby:

Lots have had theirs done. Its a well discussed topic on here. My 2009 GSA was done earlier this year. They will inspect it and then replace the necessary part or leave it be if its not cracked. I phoned BMW customer services to see if mine was on the list, they said Id receive a letter if it was. A letter never came, but I phoned my local dealer who said mine was on the list. Took it in and they did it within the hour. The only thing you have to think about is which loan bike you want for that hour :D

Mine is an MK1 04 have had mine sorted , cracks found , unit replace. Had new 1200 GS LC for whole day, 10 years of evolution, what a day I had, no mileage limit, 300 smiles covered

2006 gsa, done a month ago, one replaced, one bodged ,(repaired)

Yes, I'd like to know too, if anyone out there has that info.

Dunno really?

Just says they're working with the DVSA to identify all owners and models involved.
My only real concern is them throwing the Sertao keys at me again? :blast

at what point did they get it right? I have a 2012 TC but no letter.

Got mine the other day (2011 TC). Good job looked at this thread as I thought it was another recall for my LC.
Sold TC 2 years ago so DVSA records not up to date.

As discussed several times before, for recalls they use all the available info - from DVLA and the importers own records of owners/purchasers. The idea being that it's better to hit a few ex-owners with unnecessary letters than risk missing current ones who might have been a bit lax in notifying DVLA.

Got the letter today, '11 plate GSA.
A trip to Ocean in the near future methinks.

Make sure they have the parts, seriously my 06 GSA was done sometime ago and the "other" pump which "a's" have was the one to be found to be faulty, did they have the parts no, would arrive the following day. So make sure they have all the necessary parts available on the day.
