Does the accessory socket stay live when the ignition is off. Reason I ask is I have just fitted a camera to the socket and when the ignition is off it still shows that it is charging. I would have thought ignition off would isolate the accessory socket, as it does on most vehicles?? So if left in this state it would of course flatten the battery!

Iirc the manual states the socket stays on for 15 minutes after the bike is turned off.

Maybe check after more than 15 mins, should hopefully be off.

It will turn off in less than a minute.

Easy to check, wait for a while once the ignition goes off, it will stop charging earlier than you think. Mine does...

Just checked the PDF manual and it says will turn off no more than 15 minutes after ignition switch off.

what camera have you fitted?
reason for asking is that I would like to kind of have a dash type camera on loop recording (instead of a helmet cam)

I have a Nextbase Ride on mine peeping though the screen mounted to the sat nav rail. I use "Registrator 6" software rather than the "Driving Recorder" supplied. It turns off 10 seconds after the socket switches off which is about 20 seconds after the key is switched off.
