2014 GSA - Top Box Prices ?

Morning....

Whats the best people price you've managed to get the dealer down to on a new 2014 GSA top box ? I know they now have to be coded to the bike at the factory.......presumably to stop people transferring from bike to bike....

I think they're around £400 Retail ? As I understand it, they dont need a rail for the new GSA either - just sit on the rear rack ?

The locks are presently coded at the factory not the top box so can easily be transferred from bike to bike.

I know as I am doing it.

In time the locks will be coded at the dealers. - they just need the kits

So you can pull the locks out of the box and put them in another box or vice-versa ? That's not what the dealer was saying in the week ?

No need to BS on a forum .... Nav yes, box at the dealers, lock ... in a lorry on the way to the dealers Mate picked up a GSA at the same time with nav and topbox fitted. He is still waiting for panniers+locks. To be fair the dealer brought my bike forward a week so we could collect at the same time, so they were caught out a little . Mates bike was at the dealer for a few weeks so they had time to get the nav/topbox. My bike arrived on the Friday afternoon and they turned it around so I could collect the next day. Hats off to Chandlers!!

Yes, we did get a good deal, more with it but thats for us to know.

Regarding the lock situation, we were told they must be coded at base, then told the dealer could code them, then changed back to need to be done in Germany. My lock should be here any day as it has been confirmed as in transit.

Paid for mine when i bought the GS, got some money off the Nav 5 though.

Had to pay for mine. Paid for the Sat Nav too, but I got a good trade in on my ZZR14. Your are right about the wait, ordered mine March 15th & am expecting delivery in June !

Had to pay for mine. Paid for the Sat Nav too, but I got a good trade in on my ZZR14. Your are right about the wait, ordered mine March 15th & am expecting delivery in June !
