It's only the electronically adjustable system I believe. They can still make the standard suspension version and the poor old owner will have to turn the adjusters themselves instead of flexing a thumb.
Always the best way - that's my opinion.

Surely as an engineer you should be embracing new tech rather than burying your head in the sand!! You'll be telling us you ride an 1150 next.
) - the electronics suspension thingy needs some more time to mature methinks. Not all new stuff is good - the basics of the LC are fine, i.e. uprated engine, chassis etc are all improvements over the old 1200 and the 1150 (that statement should wake a few of the old 'uns up) - the electronics suspension thingy needs some more time to mature methinks.
What it needs is to be built according to specification, not cheapened down after approval

any one got any positive news? any sign of anything happening ? I have a feeling this might just drag on ..and on and on … as much as i have a lot of patience….its bound to wear thin one day
As has been said, this won't be a quick fix, because of parts
I reckon it will be August & into Sept
Also don't forget that both German & Italian factories shut down for their summer break for a month starting in late July
That will compound the delay![]()
I certainly wouldn't wait that long.If that's the case, BMW need to get ready for a fair few rejected bikes.I certainly wouldn't wait that long.

What hire car did they offer? I'd have taken it anyway!![]()
If you break down whilst away say abroad on holiday do they still offer a car instead of a bike ? so I'm away to the Picos in September via Brittany Ferries. If I break down and they give me a car how do I get the car on the ferry when I have a bike ticket ??
