2015 bike some diagnostic questions

I have a 2015 GS TE and I'm trying to get the engine data from the bike to use with my Garmin Virb camera but I'm having a bit of an issue and wondered if anyone else had found a solution ?

I've got an OBD2 bluetooth reader connected to a conversion lead to enable to connect to the 10pin round connector on my bike.
I can connect to the reader via bluetooth on my camera but it does not appear to be transmitting any data.

What I am trying to achieve here might not be possible but I did have a search around and I've not found any mention of it so thought I'd give it a go.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Right I have tried the adaptor with my wife car and its working as it should.

Anyone had an OBD2 adaptor with the 10pin conversion lead ?
